I wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Bubba Longgrear for the position of State School Superintendent.
Dr. Longgrear is a man of unquestionable integrity and high character whose leadership is firmly
rooted in faith, principle, and a clear understanding of right and wrong.
With decades of experience in education, Dr. Longgrear has served in a wide range of
roles—from teacher and coach to assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent and to a
highly respected 11-year successful superintendent. Each position has uniquely prepared him for
the responsibilities of leading our state’s public education system. His broad perspective and
hands-on knowledge of how schools function at every level make him exceptionally qualified to
guide educational policy and practice in a way that truly serves students, teachers, and families.
Dr. Longgrear is a proven servant leader who leads with humility and wisdom. He consistently
applies common sense in decision-making and has a demonstrated ability to build strong,
effective teams committed to shared success. His calm, steady leadership style brings people
together around a shared vision for what is best for children and communities.
